United Kingdom

There is a great demand for English fruit in preference to imports when it is available, so by growing fruit on various geographical sites, the length of the UK season can be optimised.

Although Haven Farm is only a mile from Winterwood, the Southern facing ground means that the same crop will be one weeks earlier on that site compared to Winterwood.

Winterwood

Winterwood Farm comprises just under 50 acres of good soft fruit ground, on a well drained very fine sandy loam. The farm grows Raspberries, Redcurrants, Blackcurrants, Blackberries and Gooseberries.

Haven

Winterwood Farms Ltd also leases an additional 12 acres of ground locally, called “Haven Farm” . This is now run together with Winterwood Farm by Farm Manager Rob Graham, with Harvest Manager Sharon White. This fertile ground is used to extend the production of soft fruit predominantly Raspberries, but also some Raspberries are grown in pots.
